ANYTHING

I can do to eliminate this light wash that happens everytime I scan a sketch? It's making my art look bleached and crappy, when in real life it looks so much different.

If you have any tips at all to cull this problem, PLEASE leave a comment or message me.

Something...to do with Halo. I don't know..it's a pretty open ended art piece. Maybe a scene or something, it's up to you. Make it cool, though. It's going to be a Christmas present for my husband's stepbrother, who loves Halo. I don't care about the media, but your pencil work looks nice :3 Just keep it clean...I might wanna frame it xD
